Alder-Bramble Farm was the first registered breeder of American Guinea Hogs in Western Washington, and we are proud to have been a part of preserving this small heritage breed, perfect for sustainable farms, small homesteads, and large backyards.
After selling breedstock to farms from Arlington to Olympia, we eventually got out of the breeding business, but still have a fondness for these hogs with their pleasant disposition, and gourmet quality pork. There’s a lot of information about American Guinea Hogs, what makes them great heritage livestock, and makes this critically endangered species worth preserving, where would you like to start?
